Easters Results
Congratulations to all of our Easters teams who finished with fantastic results last week.
Out of 100 teams our teams finished 40th, 42nd, 57th, 80th and 91st.
We also had two speakers finish in the top 100 speakers of the tournament, which is a great achievement.
As well as this, many of our adjudicators ended up panelling or chairing debates, which is an amazing success for those who started out as trainees.

World Rankings
GODS has moved up 200 places in the World Debating Rankings, now ranking 62nd in debating societies worldwide. A fantastic achievement for all members of the society!

2013 Easters Bid
GODS has won the bid to host the National Intervarsity Debating Championships in 2013!
Thankyou to all the institutions who supported our bid, and we look forward to hosting next year!

2012 awaits!
A massive congratulations to our three teams who just came back from the World Universities Debating Championships, who finished up with our best results ever. Very proud!
GODS has moved its meetings back to 6pm on Monday nights in N18 Theatre 2 (Nathan campus). We hope to see you there!
